The ticket sale usually starts quickly afterwards, and starts early in the morning (about 9am). Only in 2019 it was possible thus far to visit both the palace and the royal stables on one day. Visits to the Noordeinde Palace (and the stables) are unique, as actually staff tells the visitors about their work, the palace and its inhabitants.

History Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague was made available to the then Queen Beatrix in 1981. It was the home of Princess Beatrix until early 2014, when she moved back to Drakensteyn Castle in Lage Vuursche. The Hague is home to two residences of the Dutch royal family. The Noordeinde Palace was first built in the 16th century. The other royal palace, Huis ten Bosch, dates from 1640 and was designed by Pieter Post and Jacob van Campen. It has a beautiful hall with a domed roof.
